This past Wednesday, March 15th, RyeTAGA held its 5th Annual Student Choice Awards at Ryerson’s very own student pub, the Ram in the Rye. This year, the team put together a lot of fun categories for students to nominate their friends for, like Next Big Graphic Designer, Most Helpful Student, Next GCM Chair, and many more. Aside from the many awards and trophies, the entertaining night included a raffle draw and photo booth, as well as snacks and refreshments. The Student Choice Awards is one of RyeTAGA’s largest events and has been a student favourite over the past five years. This was an enjoyable and relaxing way to end the student group’s year after long hours and late nights were spent creating their journal for the upcoming TAGA conference. Both RyeTAGA executives, associates, and students of all years bonded and enjoyed each other’s company during this fun-filled night. To those that came – thank you, this night would not have been a success without you. We hope to see you again next year!
